Day 2 Sunday: Zadar – Šibenik
After breakfast, you can join us for an optional guided tour of Zadar (for a fee). Your walk with our tour guide will take you through the 2nd century BC Roman Forum, past the 9th-century pre-Romanesque Church of St. Donatus and the Church of St. Anastasia. In the early afternoon, you will sail across the Zadar archipelago and discover the beauties of Dalmatia. Arrive in the late afternoon and spend the night in the port of Šibenik. An optional guided tour (for a fee) will take you through Šibenik with its Cathedral of St. James. Experience the stone streets and enjoy the local cuisine on your own in the evening. Overnight in Šibenik.
Day 3 Monday: Šibenik – Trogir – Split
Enjoy the breathtaking promenade of Šibenik as you sail down the narrow channel of St. Anthony towards the open sea. Today, you will sail to Split, with Trogir along the way, a small island connected to the mainland. A showcase of stunning architecture based on Greek and Roman heritage. Optional guided tour (for a fee) in the early afternoon.
Our last port of the day will be Split; explore it on your own or join our optional guided tour (for a fee) to learn more about Diocletian's Palace, once the retirement residence of the Roman Emperor and now a vibrant city center. Overnight in Split.
Day 4 Tuesday: Split – Hvar
Enjoy breakfast and free time in Split, or take an optional excursion to the mainland and be impressed by the dramatic cliffs behind the beautiful settlement of Omiš, located right at the mouth of the Cetina River. Consider exploring the Cetina River Canyon with a boat trip (for a fee). In the afternoon, we sail to Hvar, officially the sunniest of the 1200 Croatian islands and the island with the most UNESCO World Heritage sites, so you should join our optional guided tour (for a fee). Overnight in Hvar.
Day 5 Wednesday: Hvar – Korčula
Departure from Hvar in the morning for Korčula. Korčula is one of the largest islands in the Adriatic Sea and is known for its characteristic lush dark forests. Korčula was a Venetian fortress and is adorned with many lion statues that you can admire on the facades and gates of the town. Allegedly the home of the world-famous traveler Marco Polo, it will enchant you whether you explore it on your own or on an optional walk (for a fee). Overnight in Korčula.
Day 6 Thursday: Korčula – Mljet – Slano
Continue to another green island, Mljet this time. The island's national park is home to two saltwater lakes connected to the sea by a narrow channel. Nature lovers will be delighted here with hiking or cycling, perhaps even kayaking to the small island in the middle of the lake, which is charming with its 12th-century St. Mary's Monastery. Alternatively, you can join our optional excursion (for a fee). Enjoy a refreshing swim before sailing back to the mainland and the small settlement of Slano, where the "Captain's Dinner" will be held, and we will dock for the night.
Day 7 Friday: Slano – Dubrovnik
Enjoy breakfast on board. Near Slano, the small town of Ston claims fame for many things that gourmets desire: strong wines, ancient salt production, and juicy oysters and mussels. Our optional tour "The Taste of Dalmatia" (for a fee) highlights all these treasures, but you can also simply relax in Slano. In the early afternoon, we set sail for Croatia's southernmost jewel and the famous hotspot Dubrovnik. Catch a glimpse of its beauty as you sail under the mighty city walls, just as your enemies and allies did before. The optional guided tour (for a fee) through Dubrovnik's Old Town will take you to the world-famous sights and lead you through the same streets that have been used as filming locations for "Game of Thrones," "Star Wars," or "Robin Hood." Enjoy an evening of romance, splendor, and glamour as you will spend the night in Dubrovnik.
Day 8 Saturday: Dubrovnik Departure
Enjoy your breakfast before leaving the ship at 9 AM.
Notes:
Organizational or weather-related changes to the itinerary are subject to the captain's sole discretion.
Upon arrival, a tax of €45 per person must be paid on board in cash.
Bed linen is changed twice a week. Towels are changed every other day.
Sturdy footwear is required for shore excursions.
Card payments are not accepted on board.
Not barrier-free.
Lunch and dinner will be served as a buffet or a set menu, depending on occupancy.
As the ships offered are motor ships, there may be operational noise and vibrations in the cabins. These may be amplified depending on the cabin's location. The respective docking points are assembly areas. Several ships dock next to or behind each other, so it may be necessary to cross other ships. For supply reasons, it may not be possible to switch off the generators at night, which can lead to noise and odor nuisance (e.g., from neighboring ships).
