Location

The DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn is located in close proximity to Vienna's sights while also being "in the middle of greenery". Only 350 m to the Technical Museum and less than 700 m to Schönbrunn Palace with its park, Imperial Carriage Museum, Imperial Pavilion, and the world's oldest zoo. Schönbrunn was the imperial summer residence for over 300 years and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996.
The city center (4.5 km) is easily accessible by public transport, e.g., a 10-minute ride on the U4 subway line to Karlsplatz, the Opera, Stephansplatz, and many other attractions such as the Hofburg Palace, the Ringstrasse, the museums of fine and natural history, or the Spanish Riding School.
Nearby excursion destinations like Auer-Welsbach-Park (550 m), Lainzer Tiergarten (6.8 km), Prater amusement park, or the wine taverns in Grinzing are also easily reachable.
