Location

Spend a relaxing yet active holiday in Berg im Drautal. Ferienhotel Glocknerhof is located about 1 km from the center with its cafes, restaurants, and shops. For water lovers, the picturesque Greifenburg bathing lake is about 4 km away, or the public outdoor pool in Berg im Drautal is approximately 1 km away. FUGO amusement park at the lake is about 14 km from the hotel.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hiking; the Emberger Alm hiking area with hiking trail 17-Kräuterweg is directly accessible from the hotel. Other excursion destinations include the Weissensee cable car (approx. 12 km) or a cycling path about 2 km away.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the timetable on site) goes directly to the Emberger Alm ski area, and the ski bus stop is located directly at the hotel. A practice lift (approx. 400 m away) is available for beginner skiers. Sledding enthusiasts will find a track right at the hotel to indulge in their hobby. The popular hiking trail 17-Kräuterweg directly at the hotel invites you for pleasant winter hikes.

The 4-star Ferienhotel Glocknerhof offers a total of 80 bright units and an inviting reception hall with seating areas, reception, and a lounge. Special features of the hotel include an e-car charging station, a large outdoor area with a water slide, and a bowling alley. The cozy rooms are spread across the main and adjacent buildings, which are about 50 m apart. With delicious food or drinks in the à la carte restaurant, another restaurant, the Stüberl, or the hotel bar, there is something for every taste. For sports equipment, there is a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the hotel, as well as a heated ski boot room with ski boot dryers available in winter.

The cozy Superior rooms, decorated in warm colors, are also located in the adjacent building and feature a double bed plus two additional single sofa beds. They are more spacious but otherwise have a similar setup to the Comfort rooms (DSU, approx. 25 m²).

Double Room Deluxe

The traditional Deluxe rooms without a balcony are located in the main building and offer a double bed, two single sofa beds, and a bathroom with a shower or bathtub. The Deluxe rooms are also slightly larger (DD2, approx. 28 m²).

Emberger Alm Ski Area: Altitude: approx. 1,600-2,250 m This winter sports area, particularly popular with families, extends to a snow-sure altitude and is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages, featuring various snowmaking facilities. Numerous huts invite you for a break near the slopes. A toboggan run promises lots of fun.
