Location

The Familienhotel Berghof in Innerkrems is idyllically situated in the heart of the Carinthian Nock Mountains at an altitude of approx. 1550 m. For a successful summer holiday in Austria, the region offers a variety of activities, such as Lake Millstatt (approx. 40 km away) and varied hiking and motorcycle routes in the immediate vicinity. The 34 km long Nockalm Road between Innerkrems in the north and Ebene Reichenau in the south is undoubtedly one of the most diverse and beautiful Alpine roads. Another highlight for the whole family is the Biosphere Park Kärntner Nockberge, which, together with Salzburger Lungau, has been recognized as the largest UNESCO Biosphere Park in Austria since 2012 and offers a wonderful connection to nature.

Facilities

The hotel is ideal for those who appreciate the typical traditional style of the mountain world. The 40 rooms are comfortably furnished and exude charm and coziness. There is also a reception, a cozy sun terrace, a dining room, further lounge areas, as well as a café and a bar. Those who want to be active in the hotel can use a small fitness room with two machines. Wi-Fi is included for guests throughout the hotel. A small wellness area with soothing treatments provides relaxation after an eventful day.

Double room

The bright and classically furnished Standard Double Rooms without a balcony have a double bed and a bathroom with shower/WC. Further amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a safe (for a fee), a seating area, and a hairdryer (approx. 17m², D).

Comfort Double room

With otherwise similar furnishings and size to the Standard Double Rooms, the Comfort Double Rooms additionally offer a balcony (DKO).

Superior Double room

The Superior Double Rooms are slightly more spacious and have a shower or bathtub in the bathroom. Otherwise similarly equipped and also bookable with a balcony (approx. 23m², DSU).

Single room

The small but cozy single room with a balcony has a single bed as a sleeping place and otherwise similar amenities to the double room (approx. 17m², E).

Family room

The 1-room family room is designed for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children up to 15 years old and offers a double bed and 1-2 extra beds for 1-2 children. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC, and there is also a balcony (approx. 23m², DF2).

Family room Type A

This category includes two double rooms, located next to or opposite each other, offering more space overall. Each room is equipped with its own bathroom and a balcony; the minimum occupancy for this room category is 4 people (approx. 34m², 2FA).

Family room Type B

The Family Room Type B consists of 2 double rooms with a connecting door and an additional 1-2 extra beds for children. There is a bathroom with a shower or bathtub and toilet, as well as a balcony (approx. 46m², 2FB).
