Location

Welcome to the Gailtal valley in Carinthia, where you can enjoy peace and quiet and let your soul dangle. The resort is located directly on the edge of the forest on a dreamlike hillside in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See holiday region, which is in the market town of Kötschach-Mauthen. The region is nestled between the Gailtal Alps and the Carnic Alps, making this accommodation ideal for a special kind of glamping holiday.
The beautiful accommodation is located in the immediate vicinity of the center of Kötschach-Mauthen, and the nearest shops, cafes, and restaurants can be reached in about 200m. The location of the accommodation is ideal for pleasant hikes through the breathtaking Carinthian landscape.
The Vorheggbahn cable car is located directly at the resort, and other cable cars in Nassfeld can be reached in about 30 km.
For hotel guests arriving by plane, the nearest airport is in Klagenfurt, which is about 118 km away. The nearest train station is in Oberdrauburg, which is about 15 km from the accommodation.

Facilities

Anyone who has always dreamed of a relaxing break in a treehouse or chalet combined with a fantastic location is in the right place. The resort opened in May 2022 and has since offered its visitors a unique glamping experience. Camping with luxury is possible here. The resort has a total of 50 accommodation units, all designed and furnished with great attention to detail. Guests who are enthusiastic cyclists can use the accommodation's bicycle storage room after an exciting day in this wonderful region.

Accommodation

Chalet

The cozy and brightly designed chalets (approx. 43m²) consist of two bedrooms and a living room. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the other with two single beds as sleeping arrangements. General amenities include a flat-screen TV, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and balcony or terrace, as well as a fully equipped kitchen (with cutlery, crockery, hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine) (2CH).

House

The cozy and bright treehouses (approx. 23 m²) have similar amenities to the chalets but are smaller and feature a combined living/sleeping area with a double bed and a single sofa bed as sleeping arrangements (H1A).

Luxury Safari Tent

The comfortable safari luxury tents feature air conditioning, a shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen (with cutlery, crockery, hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine). The tents consist of two sleeping areas – one room with a double bed, the other with two single beds – as well as a cozy living area. To ensure you can fully enjoy your time in the luxury tent, here's a tip: nights in the Carinthian mountains can be a bit cool in spring and autumn. Bed linen is of course provided – for even more coziness and a real glamping feeling, we recommend bringing your own sleeping bag (ZE, approx. 31 m²).

outdoor pool (approx. 210 m²) at AQUARENA Kötschach-Mauthen, open from 10 AM to 9 PM
(NOTE: Tuesdays are rest days and therefore closed. Changes and restrictions to
opening hours and usage areas are subject to change. Possible maintenance work or other
closures as per information on-site or on the website.)
