Location

A holiday by the lake or in the mountains – often it's hard to decide. At the beautiful Naturel Hoteldorf Schönleitn, guests can enjoy both. The hotel complex is ideally located on a sunny slope above Lake Faak in Carinthia. In this wonderful region, peace and relaxation meet a diverse range of leisure activities and a vibrant village life. The nearest town is Faak am See, which is about 2 km away. In Faak am See, guests will also find the nearest train station (approx. 2 km), and Klagenfurt airport is the closest airport (approx. 50 km away). For a refreshing dip in the summer, the beautiful lakes of the region, the closest being Lake Faak and Lake Aichwald (approx. 1.2 km away), are ideal.

Facilities

The SCHÖNLEITN village consists of 24 traditional farmhouses, offering space for 94 apartments. The houses are approximately 400 years old and have been lovingly restored with great attention to detail, furnished in a country house style. Within the farmhouses, guests will find everything they need for a cozy and independent holiday, while also enjoying the comfort of an in-house wellness area and a restaurant on the village square. The Hoteldorf SCHÖNLEITN is car-free to ensure maximum safety for even the youngest guests. The love for the Carinthia region can also be tasted in the village hotel's restaurant, as it primarily features products from selected local producers and suppliers. For guests who prefer to self-cater, the hotel offers a village shop, so no one has to go without fresh bread rolls, milk, and eggs for breakfast.
