Location

Spend a sporty, active holiday in Altenmarkt. The Hotel Brückenwirt (altitude approx. 850 m) is located about 800 m from the center. Cafés and restaurants, as well as shops, are about 300 m away. The nearest attraction (local history museum) is about 1 km away. In Eben, about 2 km away, a picturesque swimming lake awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool in Radstadt, about 4 km away. The Amadé thermal spa is about 900 m from the hotel, offering bathing fun regardless of the weather. The Untertauern wildlife park is about 9 km from the hotel.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) takes you to the directly adjacent Altenmarkt hiking area with a total of approx. 30 km of hiking trails and the Enns river circular trail. The hiking bus stop is located directly at the hotel. The Starjet Flachau cable car is also about 6 km away. You can get active and enjoy the scenery on the "Ennstal Radweg" cycle path located directly at the hotel.

Facilities

The 3-star Hotel Brückenwirt, partially renovated in spring 2024, offers a total of 50 accommodation units, a welcoming reception area with seating, a reception, an indoor pool, a terrace, and a TV lounge, as well as a beautiful wellness area (approx. 180 m²) with various saunas, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin. For your culinary well-being, there is a restaurant, a hotel bar, and a cozy lounge. Cyclists can use the hotel's bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

Double Room

The comfortable and bright rooms (D, approx. 20-22 m²) feature cable TV, telephone, radio, shower or bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed.

Double Room with 1 extra bed

The bright and comfortable rooms with a possible extra bed (Z1D, approx. 20-22 m²) feature cable TV, telephone, radio, shower or bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a fold-out bed for the third person.

Double Room with 2 extra beds

The double rooms with two extra beds (Z2D, approx. 24 m²) have the same amenities as the double rooms with one extra bed, but with two fold-out beds as sleeping accommodation for the third and fourth person.

Family Room (Summer only)

The brightly and comfortably furnished family rooms (DF2, approx. 30-40 m²) feature cable TV, telephone, radio, bathroom with shower or bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror, and some have a balcony. The rooms consist of two sleeping areas, each with a double bed or 2 fixed single beds. The family rooms either consist of 2 rooms with a connecting door or 2 separate rooms without a connecting door, located next to each other.

Single Room (on request)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the single rooms (E, approx. 14-20 m²) consist of a sleeping area with a fixed single bed. Single rooms can only be booked on request.

Meals begin with dinner on the day of arrival and end with breakfast on the day of departure. Daily buffet breakfast, light lunch from 12-1 PM or packed lunch, coffee and cake in the afternoon from 4-5 PM, 3-course set menu with choice of main course in the evening, beer, wine, soft drinks, fruit juices, mineral water from 11 AM to 9 PM - no spirits! Especially in summer: 1x per week farmer's buffet.
