Spend a relaxing holiday in Zauchensee. The Magic Mountains Familotel Zauchenseehof is located at an altitude of approx. 1,350 m. Cafés and restaurants are about 30 m away, and the nearest shops are approximately 8 km from your holiday accommodation. The nearest attraction (Eisriesenwelt) is about 40 km away. The picturesque Zauchensee lake awaits all water lovers at a distance of approximately 200 m. In Altenmarkt, about 10 km away, the public Amadé thermal spa invites you for weather-independent bathing fun. The adventure playground Meistercup der Alpentiere is just about 250 m from the hotel. Experience untouched nature in the Hohe Tauern National Park, about 103 km away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the extensive Zauchensee-Alm hiking area, about 30 m away, with a hiking trail network of approx. 195 km in total and the 4-Peak Round Tour hiking trail. The hiking bus stop is about 200 m away. The Gamskogel cable car is also about 250 m away. Due to its special location, your holiday resort is perfect for cyclists. You can let off steam on a cycle path about 30 m away and with an extensive total cycle path network of about 200 km.
The lively village of Zauchensee impresses with its varied design options in addition to its central location. Your holiday resort also offers a wide selection of eateries, unspoiled nature, and an impressive mountain panorama. Experience wonderfully relaxing hours at the Erlebnis-Therme Amadé thermal bath, about 1.4 km away. Enjoy the charm of nature on a bike or mountain bike or during extensive hikes. An extensive cycle path network and well-marked hiking trails offer the optimal conditions for this. The area can also be wonderfully explored while Nordic walking.
Especially in summer, you can perfectly combine nature experience and sporting activity while swimming in and around Zauchensee.

The comfortable and newly renovated Magic Mountain Familotel Zauchenseehof welcomes you with 4 stars and a total of 80 lovingly designed rooms. Facilities include a welcoming reception area, a cozy hotel bar with a terrace, and a spacious indoor pool with a separate children's pool and two exciting water slides.
For relaxing moments, an exclusive adults-only wellness area with an infinity pool is also available. You can get active on the hotel's own bowling alley (for a fee). The hotel's own restaurant will spoil you culinary, complemented by the public bar "Almbar" directly on site.
Your bicycles can be safely parked in the garage or the ski cellar.

Family Suite Exclusive

The bright, non-smoking rooms (FAG, approx. 34-38m²) feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, direct dial telephone, shower or bath, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed for 2 people, or a double bed and a bunk bed, and a small cozy seating area. In some rooms, there is an additional single sofa for a 5th person. A bath bag with hand and bath towels and bathrobes for adults and children are provided in the room. All rooms are equipped with hypoallergenic bedding.

Double Room Interconnecting

The bright, non-smoking rooms (CI2, approx. 22-25m² per room) consist of 2 separate double rooms and feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, direct dial telephone, shower or bath, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. A bath bag with hand and bath towels, and bathrobes for adults and children are provided in the room. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed. All rooms are equipped with hypoallergenic bedding.

Meals

Full Board

The meal plan starts with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with lunch or a packed lunch on the day of departure.
- Breakfast: (from 7:30 AM - 10 AM): extensive, varied breakfast buffet with rolls, pastries, several wholemeal breads, various jams & honey, various cold cuts, ham and bacon, soft-boiled eggs, fresh juice, muesli, cornflakes or similar, milk, fresh fruit and breakfast drinks.
- Lunch: "Light Lunch": salad buffet (at least 3 different varieties), a cheese and a cold cut platter each, various types of bread, hot dishes such as hearty soup (e.g., goulash soup), pasta dishes, Kaiserschmarren, sausages, Gröstl, minced meat patties, Leberkäse and mashed potatoes or similar.
- Packed lunch: Guests can prepare their own packed lunch upon prior reservation. The packed lunch consists of: 2 rolls, 1 sweet item, 1 drink, and 1 piece of fruit.
- Dinner: 3-course set menu (at least two main courses to choose from) and an additional salad buffet or a corresponding themed buffet. Dinner is served at the level of the respective hotel category. Children have the option to choose from the adult menu.
