Location

Experience wonderful days in Fusch on the Großglockner road! The idyllic village is always worth a visit. Cozy bars, the impressive mountain scenery, and the quiet location make it a special destination. Additionally, there are several interesting day trip destinations in the vicinity of Fusch on the Großglockner road waiting for your visit. Zell am See (approx. 8 km away) is particularly recommended. Enjoy the charm of the nature characterized by lush meadows and green forests. Pure nature can also be found in the Hohe Tauern National Park (entrance directly in the village).
In summer, the accommodation is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The Schmittenhöhe hiking area with the Fuscher Höhenwanderweg trail is located directly behind the house. The hiking bus stop is approx. 200 m away. The Areitbahn cable car is also about 8 km away. You can get active and enjoy the landscape on a cycle path approx. 10 m away.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local schedule) will take you directly to the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn ski areas. The ski bus stop is located approx. 250 m from the house. A practice lift (directly at the house) is available for beginner skiers. The Areitbahn cable car in the Zell am See/Schmitten ski area is about 8 km from the house. Another cable car (Schönleitenbahn) in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area is about 26 km from the house. The nearest cross-country ski trail (Fusch) is only approx. 100 m away. A hiking trail only about 100 m away invites you to enjoy pleasant winter walks.

Facilities

The family-friendly 4-star Feriendorf Ponyhof accommodation offers a welcoming reception area with seating, a reception desk, and a lounge with TV, in addition to its 40 residential units. Your accommodation is divided into two main buildings, "Elternhaus" and "Stammhaus," with the main and secondary buildings connected underground and approximately 50 m apart. Enjoy culinary delights in the restaurant and a cozy Stüberl. You can end an eventful day of your vacation in good company at the hotel bar. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own, lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area. In winter, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible directly from the house, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer, are available for your winter sports equipment. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area.

SKI INFO: The nearest cross-country ski trail entrance and a romantic winter hiking trail are located approx. 100 m away.
SKI RESORT INFO: The Zell am See-Kaprun ski resort is a very extensive ski area, which also includes the Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe, and Maiskogel ski regions. The variety of different pistes and descents such as mogul slopes, powder runs, sunny slopes, family runs, and many more, offer ideal conditions for everyone, from beginner skiers to carving pros, to feel comfortable and get their money's worth. Furthermore, the ski resort offers snow parks for extra variety and action. The ski resort is known for its well-groomed slopes and snow reliability. Groomed pistes: Easy: approx. 25 km, medium: approx. 27 km, difficult: approx. 25 km.
