Location

The Hotel Fichtenhof is located on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park in a magnificent panoramic setting, approximately 5 km before Großarl. Surrounded by the picturesque mountain peaks of the Salzburger Land, the Fichtenhof, with its comfortable rooms, is the ideal holiday home for relaxation and unwinding.
The village of Großarl, situated at an altitude of 920 m, lies amidst the picturesque nature of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is located roughly in the middle of the valley. Nestled in a dreamlike mountain landscape, it is the starting point for many beautiful alpine hikes to the managed huts, which have earned Großarl the nickname "Valley of Alpine Pastures".

Facilities

The Fichtenhof gourmet hotel has been run by the Gschwandtl family for almost 50 years. The familiar, personal atmosphere that has existed since the 1970s still contributes to the Fichtenhof's special feel-good character today. Elegant reception area with foyer and 2 elevators. Beautiful restaurant area with a winter garden. Sun terrace, children's playroom, small outdoor play area.

The comfortably and cozily furnished "Panorama" comfort room for 2-4 people with a living area (DKO, approx. 40 m²) features a shower/WC (partially in one room/partially separate), hairdryer, radio, telephone, in-room safe, satellite TV, and a south-facing balcony or terrace. The sleeping option for the 3rd or 4th person is a sofa bed.

Double Room Upper Floor

The comfortably and cozily furnished "upper floor" double room for 2 people (E2O, approx. 20 m²) features a shower/WC, hairdryer, radio, telephone, in-room safe, and satellite TV. The attic room has a sloping ceiling with a skylight. There is no elevator access to this room type.

Half Board

Rich and varied breakfast buffet (from 8 am) with regional products. In the evening (approx. 6 pm), exquisite 5-7 course menus and various buffet offerings. On balmy summer evenings, outdoor barbecues are a welcome change.
