Location

The Dorfhotel Kaltenhauser is a suitable accommodation for a relaxed and active holiday in the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Panorama-Gondelbahn Kitzbüheleralpen cable car is about 800m away, offering direct access to the Kitzbühel ski area with 196 km of ski slopes of all difficulty levels. Free ski bus at the hotel. Cross-country ski trail approx. 100m. Ski rental Sport Steger approx. 800m. Hotel guests receive a 10% discount at the ski rental.

The hotel lives by the motto "Family-Individual-Different" and is designed for discerning and active guests as well as families. A total of 41 rooms are available, furnished in retro style with many wood elements and rustic design. The double rooms type L have been renovated and are designed in a more modern and brighter style. For culinary enjoyment within the All Inclusive program, the restaurant "Taverne" offers dishes from traditional Austrian family recipes, as well as creative and fresh products. Those seeking relaxing moments will find themselves perfectly at home in the Feng Shui garden or the indoor pool with its sauna area. For refreshment on hot summer days, the natural swimming lake in Hollersbach also provides a welcome cool-down. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Double Room Type L

The renovated and modern "Type L" double rooms are designed for 2 adults and 1 child and offer a double bed, sofa bed, bathtub or shower, separate toilet, seating area, and balcony (approx. 32-40m², D2X).

Single Room "Retro"

The "Retro" single rooms are smaller, have a single bed, and are otherwise equipped similarly to the "Retro" double rooms (approx. 15m², E).

Family Room "Retro"

The 2-room family rooms are also in "Retro" style without a balcony and offer guests a master bedroom with a double bed and a separate living/bedroom with a connecting door and a double sofa bed. There is also a seating area and a bathroom with shower/toilet (approx. 40m², DF2).

Note

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there will be a new charge, the "Mobility Tax."
