Location

Spend a relaxing yet sporty and active holiday in Kaprun. The non-smoking hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun (altitude approx. 786 m) is located directly in the center. Cafés and restaurants as well as shops are right next to the hotel. The nearest sight (high-alpine reservoirs) is about 9 km away. In Zell am See, approximately 7 km away, the picturesque Zeller See lake awaits all water lovers. A golf course is located about 3 km from the hotel. You can also have fun hours at the Tauern Spa thermal baths with outdoor and indoor pools, located about 1.7 km away.
In the summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) takes you to the directly adjacent Kitzsteinhorn hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Maiskogelbahn cable car can also be reached in about 200 m. You can get active on a cycle path located directly at the hotel and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

The comfortable 4-star hotel Das Alpenhaus Kaprun, partially renovated in 2022, offers a welcoming lobby with seating, a reception, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a terrace, and an e-car charging station, as well as the large wellness area "ALPEN.VEDA.SPA" (approx. 1000 m²), including various saunas, a whirlpool, a steam bath, and a brine steam bath. For your culinary well-being, there is the à la carte restaurant "Weinstube", the restaurant "ALPENHAUS.RESTAURANT", the hotel bar "ALPENHAUS.BAR", and a public bar. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area.
