Nestled in the Hohe Tauern National Park and the beautiful Salzburg region, gently embedded in the Kitzbühel and Zillertal Alps directly on the border with Tyrol and the Zillertal valley, lies Königsleiten. Here at 1,600m above sea level, free from fog & pollen, in the middle of the village center, you will find the 4-star Superior Hotel - The Alpenwelt Resort. Königsleiten is the perfect place for a longer stay or a relaxing short break. In summer, you have direct access to beautiful hiking trails, picturesque cycling routes, and numerous leisure activities for the whole family. In winter, the ski lifts, just 100 meters away, take you directly to the ski slopes. For skiing enthusiasts, a ski school and ski rental are available right on your doorstep in winter.

Facilities

The MY ALPENWELT Resort features a reception, lobby, lounge, disco, elevator, and luggage service. In the "Day & Dinner Club SUSI ALM" restaurant, you can enjoy all-day warm cuisine and a modern crossover menu (for a fee). Drinks & cocktails (for a fee), loungers, cozy blankets, and DJ sound await you at the hotel bar and on the large heated sun terrace. The hotel has a guest kitchen and a laundry room. Internet access is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double Room

The double rooms (approx. 20m²) feature a sleeping/living area with a box-spring bed, a bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, a balcony with an inner courtyard view, a safe, telephone, satellite TV, and internet (D).

Double Room Superior (Winter)

The superior double rooms (approx. 23m²) also have a sleeping-living area with a box-spring bed and a sofa bed for up to 2 people, a reading and writing corner, a bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, and the same amenities as the double rooms (DSU).

Deluxe Suite

The Deluxe Suites (approx. 45-50m²) feature a bedroom and a separate children's room, a cozy living area, a bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, a desk, a seating area, telephone, satellite TV, internet, and a balcony (S2D).

Children's program

For our little guests, there is all-day childcare for children from 6 months old (from 1 year old in high season) from Sunday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, including lunch and drinks as part of the childcare. In July & August and during the autumn holidays, there is a children's evening care 3 times a week (subject to availability, as posted locally). There is also an indoor children's world and, in summer & autumn, a large adventure playground for various ball games. Once a week in summer & autumn: Quad tour for children and a ride in the Action Truck, the giant fire engine (weather permitting, can only be used on days following arrival, day varies).

MY ALPENWELT Resort is located in the most beautiful and sunniest spot, right in the center of Königsleiten, amidst a breathtaking mountain panorama with the Alpenwelt FelsenBAD&SPA, the unique bathing & spa wellness world: with an indoor pool with an infinity SKY outdoor pool (total length approx. 25m, approx. 30°C), adventure saunas & steam baths, ice fountain, ice mist shower, roof terrace & natural spring-fed swimming pond in summer (unheated, weather permitting), as well as a separate Family AQUAPARK (approx. 85m², approx. 32°C) with a water slide, children's pool, and children's steam bath.

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the Salzburg region from May 1, 2025, there will be a new levy, the "Mobility Levy". This fee will be collected concurrently with the local tax per overnight stay and will contribute to the expansion of transportation. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport in their vacation resort. The levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
- The Mobility Levy is a legally mandated fee and must be paid for all taxable overnight stays.
- From May 1, 2025: €0.50, with a gradual increase of the amount, from May 1, 2027: €1.10.
