The Bergheimat Hotel boasts a unique location high above Mühlbach, beneath the imposing Hochkönig massif, offering incredible panoramic views of the surrounding mountain landscape. In summer, it's the ideal base for hiking tours or a refreshing dip in the lake, while in winter, ski enthusiasts can enjoy slopes for all levels nearby. Mühlbach town center, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes, is approximately 3 km away, and a hiking bus stop with a free hiking bus is about a 5-minute walk away.
In winter, the hotel is the perfect starting point for a variety of winter sports activities such as skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, and winter hiking. The free ski bus to the Hochkönig ski area stops directly in front of the hotel. Mühlbach town center is 3 km away. Nearest ski lift approx. 3 km away.

Double Room Birgkar

The comfortably furnished rooms feature a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet with a bidet. Basic amenities include a seating area, minibar, safe, telephone, radio, and cable TV. These double rooms are located in the older part of the building and are characterized by simple, rustic coziness. These rooms do not have a balcony (approx. 24sqm, D).

Double Room Hochkeil

These double rooms are located in the older part of the building and are furnished in a rustic country house style. They feature a double bed and a balcony with a valley or Hochkönig view (approx. 24-28sqm, DA). Available for single occupancy (DEA) or as a single with child occupancy (D1K).

Comfort Double Room

The cozy "Schneeberg" comfort rooms feature bright furnishings and a south-facing balcony with breathtaking valley views. They also include a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed for two people (approx. 28-30sqm, DKO).

Junior Suite

The "Hochkönig" junior suite impresses with natural spruce wood furniture and a living/sleeping area. The living area with a sofa bed for two can be separated from the sleeping area by a sliding door. Additionally, the junior suites feature a tiled stove, a seating area, wooden floors, a whirlpool, and a balcony (approx. 46-49sqm, JS2).

Information

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there will be a new levy, the "Mobility Tax." The fee will be collected along with the tourist tax per overnight stay and will contribute to the expansion of transportation. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport at their vacation destination. The levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
