Location

The accommodation in Rennweg am Katschberg is uniquely located on the border between the states of Carinthia and Salzburg, making it an attractive destination for both winter and summer, especially for families with children. Ski vacationers and winter sports enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Katschberg ski area with its numerous slopes for all skill levels. The hotel is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a wide range of alpine activities. Another highlight is the Katschberg cable car with a newly built alpine playground directly at the Aineckbahn summit station at 2,200 m above sea level. The immediate vicinity of the two national parks "Kärntner Nockberge" and "Hohe Tauern" offers numerous excursion destinations and opportunities for outdoor activities such as extensive hiking and mountain biking tours.
Especially in winter:
The extensive "Katschi" ski area, with a total of 17 state-of-the-art lifts and 80 km of slopes of all difficulty levels, is known for its reliable snow cover and abundant sunshine. Skiers and snowboarders will also find plenty of opportunities to carve down the slopes. A ski school is located directly at the accommodation. The nearest lift is approximately 50 m away.

Double Room Kuschelnest

The cozy "Kuschelnest" rooms have space for a double bed, shower, toilet, and hairdryer, as well as a cosmetic mirror. A rental bathrobe, cable TV, radio, telephone, and a safe (for a fee) are also provided (approx. 22m², D).

Family Room Schwalbennest

These spacious and bright rooms are suitable for the whole family and are equipped with a living/sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed or bunk beds, as well as a balcony (approx. 28m², DF2).

Apartment Bergnest

The "Bergnest" apartments, with traditional wooden furnishings and colorful accents, consist of two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds or a sofa bed. The other amenities are similar to the double rooms (approx. 38m², AP).

Apartment Sternenhimmel

The "Sternenhimmel" apartments are even more spacious and similarly equipped to the "Bergnest" apartments. A special highlight in these rooms is that some feature a slide or a climbing wall for children, and the bathroom has a bathtub and toilet (approx. 45m², A12).
