Location

The idyllic village of Wagrain, nestled between the Tennengebirge and the Radstätter Tauern, impresses with its diverse recreational opportunities. Your holiday destination offers a unique combination of tradition and modernity, an extensive selection of restaurants, and a breathtaking mountain panorama. Enjoy the natural beauty with extensive hikes through lush meadows and green forests. Well-marked hiking trails provide the ideal conditions. Especially in summer, you can combine the experience of nature and sports in and around Wagrain by swimming in the outdoor pool Wasserwelt Wagrain.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extended winter hikes. A free ski bus runs according to the local timetable. The ski bus stop is opposite the hotel, approximately 20 m away. A practice lift (approx. 950 m away) is available for beginner skiers. The Grafenbergbahn cable car in the Ski Amadé ski area is about 500 m from the hotel. The nearest cross-country ski trail (Tauernloipe) is about 500 m away. A hiking trail just about 100 m away invites you for pleasant winter walks.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent Salzburger Sportwelt hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Wagrain cable car is also about 500 m away. You can get active and enjoy the scenery on a cycle path about 50 m away.

Facilities

The Hotel Wagrainerhof, partially renovated in 2023, is family-friendly and offers 63 units, a reception area, a reception desk, and an e-car charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an adjacent building, which are connected. Enjoy culinary delights in the à la carte restaurant "Wagrainerhof", another restaurant, and the "Jägerstube" lounge. You can end an eventful day in the hotel's public bar "The People'z". A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel.
For your winter sports equipment, there is a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the hotel, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer.
