Location

Spend a unique holiday in Ellmau. The Tirol Lodge accommodation is located about 1 km from the center. Cafés and restaurants are right next to the property. In Going, approximately 5.5 km away, a picturesque swimming lake awaits all water sports enthusiasts. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool Kaiserbad Ellmau, located about 2.7 km away.
The accommodation is the ideal starting point for hikes in the summer. Take excursions into the beautiful landscape of your holiday region. A hiking bus (free of charge) will take you to the directly adjacent hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Hartkaiserbahn cable car is located directly at the property.
The 9 towns of Ellmau, Söll, Scheffau, Going, Westendorf, Brixen im Thale, Kelchsau, Hopfgarten, and Itter together form the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area, with only one ski pass needed for all towns. The top winter sports area with its well-groomed slopes extends to snow-sure altitudes and offers off-piste slopes, a race course, various snowmaking facilities, and a magnificent panorama. It also features a clear piste map with detailed information boards. Due to its children's area, it is ideal for children's first attempts at skiing. With floodlights switched on, the piste can also be wonderfully skied at night. Skiers are not the only ones who get their money's worth here, as the area is considered a cross-country skiing Eldorado with around 70 km of classic cross-country ski trails. Those who want to send holiday greetings directly from the slopes to their friends and acquaintances will find Wi-Fi hotspots in the ski area for this purpose. Various inns and, of course, après-ski options provide for conviviality off the slopes as well as for warming drinks and snacks in between. 5 snow parks also promise lots of fun. Tobogganing on the Going toboggan run (approx. 1.5 km away) is also great fun.

Built in 2018, the Tirol Lodge offers 171 units, a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, an e-car charging station, and a lounge. Enjoy culinary delights in the restaurant. You can round off an eventful day of vacation in good company at the hotel bar. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
