Shopping facilities can be found in the Stadtgalerien Schwaz shopping center, approximately 19 km away. In addition, some interesting day trip destinations await your visit in the vicinity of Fügen. Particularly recommended are Innsbruck (approx. 50 km away), the approximately 14.2 km distant Castle Tratzberg, the local history museum, and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal. Immerse yourself in the wonderful landscape by bike or on extensive hikes past lush meadows. Well-marked hiking trails offer the optimal conditions for this. The area can also be wonderfully explored on horseback or during Nordic walking. Especially in summer, you can combine experiencing nature and sports activities in and around Fügen by swimming at the Schlitterer See lake (approx. 5 km away) or in the outdoor pool (in the village). You can also be active in climbing. Improve your handicap while golfing or play a game of mini-golf. Spend an eventful day at the Zell am Ziller leisure park (approx. 15.5 km). Visit the Alpenzoo Innsbruck (approx. 47 km).
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers and offers you the opportunity for extended winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local timetable) will take you directly to the Hochfügen & Hochzillertal ski area. The ski bus stop is located directly at the house. A practice lift (approx. 10 m away) is available for ski beginners. The Spieljochbahn cable car is only about 10 m from the house. The total cross-country ski trail length is about 5 km, and the nearest cross-country ski trail is about 1 km away. Those who want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the region during pleasant winter hikes will find hiking trails with a total length of approx. 5 km at a distance of only about 50 m.

The partially renovated Hotel Kohlerhof, a 4-star hotel, offers a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, a wine cellar, and an e-car charging station, in addition to its 158 accommodation units. Your accommodation consists of a main building and several annexes, with the main and annex buildings connected underground and approximately 15 m apart. Indulge in culinary delights at the à la carte restaurant, another restaurant, and a cozy Stüberl. You can end an eventful day of your vacation in good company at the hotel bar or at the public bar "PizzPub" located within the hotel. Furthermore, a terrace (also usable in winter) and a garden are available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. A lockable ski and snowboard storage room, accessible directly from the hotel, and a heated ski boot room are available for your winter sports equipment. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

The comfortably furnished rooms, decorated in a traditional style (EK, approx. 30 sqm), feature satellite TV, direct dial telephone, radio, shower or bath, toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a fixed single bed.

Apartment (on request)

The comfortable apartments (A12, between approx. 40 and 60 sqm) are located in the annex building approximately 50 m away and feature satellite TV, telephone, radio, shower or bath, toilet, and a balcony or terrace. The apartments consist of a bedroom and a living/sleeping area. The living/sleeping area has 2 pull-out beds. The bedroom has a double bed and a pull-out bed.

Ski area:
The winter sports area, especially popular with families, with its wide slopes extends to a snow-sure altitude and is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages, featuring practice lifts for beginners, a race course, and various snow-making facilities. With floodlights on, the slopes can also be enjoyed at night. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for enjoyable après-ski. A toboggan run promises plenty of fun.
