Location

Spend your days actively in your holiday region of Tyrol. The Hotel Zontaja (in a panoramic location at approx. 1,584 m) is located about 800 m from the center of Galtür. Cafés and restaurants, as well as shops, are about 800 m away. Use your vacation for an excursion – our tips: Alpinarium Adventure Museum (approx. 1 km), Ischgl (approx. 9 km), bathing lake in See (approx. 25 km), Ischgl Thermal Spa in Ischgl (approx. 15 km), and the Spiel-, Sport- & Wasserpark leisure park (approx. 25 km) with a tennis court and football pitch.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (free of charge) will take you to the directly adjacent Silvretta-Verwall group hiking area with a network of hiking trails totaling approx. 250 km in length. The bus stop for the hiking bus is located directly at the hotel. The Birkhahnbahn cable car is also about 2.8 km away. You can get active on a cycle path directly at the hotel with a total cycle path network of about 25 km and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

The comfortable Hotel Zontaja, partially renovated in 2022 and rated 3 Stars Superior, offers a total of 37 rooms, a lobby with a fireplace, a reception, a terrace,
a luggage storage room, an e-bike charging station, an e-car charging station, and a drying room for clothing. For your physical well-being, there is a restaurant and the
hotel bar, as well as a Stüberl (small lounge). Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
