Location

The popular PortoBay Falésia hotel is located above the cliffs, directly on the coastline by the sea and is only about 400 m from the approximately 8-kilometer-long dream beach "Praia da Falésia" (directly accessible via stairs). The center of Olhos de Água with its cozy restaurants is only about 500 m away. Further restaurants, bars, discotheques, shopping and entertainment facilities can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. The nearest towns to the hotel are Armacao De Pera (approx. 15 km), Vilamoura (approx. 18 km) and Albufeira (approx. 8 km). There is a bus stop nearby. The nearest train station is approx. 15 km away. Faro International Airport is approx. 35 km away.

The 4-star hotel has a total of 310 comfortable rooms. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, lobby with seating areas, library, "Madeira" restaurant, "il Basilico" restaurant and bar, "Búzios" bar, a well-maintained outdoor area with sun terrace, garden, sunbathing lawn, swimming pool (freshwater), separate children's pool, and pool/snackbar "il Basilico". Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for hotel guests in the pool and garden area (for a fee on the beach, offered by local providers).

The double rooms are approx. 22 sqm and have a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer and free Rituals toiletries, two single beds (twin), air conditioning/heating, safe (included), minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee set, telephone, Smart TV, Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished balcony (D). Also available as a double room type I with a limited contingent at a special price (DI). Double room with sea view available for an extra charge (DM).

Superior Double room

These rooms are more spacious at approx. 27 sqm, with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms (DSU). (Also bookable under FAOA32).

Junior Suite (FAOA32)

These feature a bedroom with two single beds, satellite TV with LCD screen, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, living room with armchairs, side table, desk with mirror and chair, air conditioning (heating/cooling), and a veranda with table and chairs (JS2).

Single Room (FAOA32)

These rooms are smaller with otherwise the same amenities (E).
Also optionally available with sea view (EM).

Meals

B&B/Half Board/Half Board Plus/Full Board

Buffet breakfast. Half board includes dinner as a buffet or à la carte (depending on occupancy). Full board includes lunch à la carte in addition to dinner. Themed buffets daily, changing weekly. Show cooking.
Half Board Plus is only bookable in winter: drinks are also included with dinner (0.375l house wine, 1 water, 1 beer or 1 soft drink).
