Location

This beautiful hotel Quinta da Serra is located at an altitude of 820 m, surrounded by mountains and gorges. The property covers 140 hectares. Funchal is only approx. 18 km away. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The hotel also offers a free bus shuttle to Funchal.

The comfortable hotel consists of a total of 52 rooms – a historic quinta and a modern new building. It features the spacious and cozy Bio-Restaurant "Greenvalley" with international cuisine made from predominantly local organic products (certified), luxurious ambiance, personal service, and a magnificent view over the valley. The hotel also offers a bar, a reading room, complimentary internet, various lounges, a conference room, a covered swimming pool which is used as a panoramic indoor pool in winter, and a fitness room. In the outdoor area, you will find beautiful gardens with numerous ancient trees, tropical plants, small levadas, and a small jogging track. There are numerous hiking trails on the property, allowing you to enjoy nature without leaving the premises.
