Location

The hotel Les Suites at the Cliff Bay is idyllically situated on the outskirts of Funchal, on a hillside above the bathing bay. A pebble beach is approximately 1 km away. The center of Funchal with numerous shopping and entertainment facilities, restaurants and bars is about 2 km from the hotel. Funchal International Airport is approx. 17 km away.

The elegant and charming 5-star hotel belonging to the PortoBay Hotel & Resort chain has a main and an annex building, offering a total of 23 luxurious suites. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, a lobby with seating areas, elevators, an internet corner (included), luggage room, cinema, library, games room, a set menu restaurant, the restaurant "Avista", 2 à la carte restaurants (for a fee, prior reservation required, some in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), 4 bars (some in the sister hotel The Cliff Bay), a well-maintained outdoor area (usable depending on the weather) with a garden, sun terrace, infinity swimming pool (freshwater), outdoor whirlpool (freshwater), and an infinity pool bar (seasonally open from 10:30 am to 6 pm). The Sea View Suites are approximately 60 square meters and feature a bathroom made of Greek marble with a bathtub, separate shower cabin, double vanity, toilet, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, and "Bvlgari" amenities. They also have a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single/twin beds (separated by a sliding door), a living area with sleeping facilities, a desk, a seating area, air conditioning (seasonal), heating (seasonal), a safe (included), a minibar (water and soft drinks included, otherwise for a fee), telephone, 2 smart TVs (each 49-inch smart TV with HDMI and USB connection), Wi-Fi (included), bathrobes, slippers, coffee/tea maker, coffee machine, pillow menu, microwave (on request), and a balcony of approx. 17 square meters (furnished) with a sea view (S2M/S1M/S3M).

With otherwise similar amenities to the Sea View Suites, these offer a small private garden with two sun loungers and a parasol (SA/1SA/SA3).

Duplex Sea View Suite

With otherwise similar amenities to the Sea View Suites, these offer a living area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom on the upper floor. These rooms therefore extend over 2 floors, and the two levels are connected by a staircase (IX2/IX1/S2X/2SB).
