Location

The historic country house hotel PortoBay Serra Golf is located in the picturesque village of "Santo da Serra". A small, charming country estate surrounded by laurel forests, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. The area features some of the most beautiful Levadas on the island of Madeira. The "Santo da Serra" golf course is nearby. The center of "Santa Cruz" can be reached in about a 10-minute drive, Funchal is approximately 25 km away. The distance to the airport is about 10 km.

The tastefully furnished country house "PortoBay Serra Golf" consists of a main building with 21 rooms, dating back to 1920 and part of the region's architectural heritage, as well as an annex building. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, a lounge with a fireplace, and the restaurant `Avó Micas`, Wi-Fi, a reading room with an LCD TV, a DVD and CD library, and a heated indoor pool with direct access to the garden area.

Double Room

The double rooms are approx. 26m² in size, located in the annex building, and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, cosmetic mirror, bathroom amenities from the Rituals brand, twin beds, air conditioning/heating, telephone, minibar (for a fee), Smart TV, Wi-Fi, coffee/tea maker, without a balcony or terrace (D). Optionally bookable as a double room for single use (E).

Double Room Superior

The Superior double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 38m²), and are located in the main building (DSU).
