Location

One of Mallorca's most beautiful beaches is the popular bathing bay of Cala Mesquida. This picturesque bay, approximately 300 m wide and a protected nature reserve, is characterized by its high dunes and transitions directly into a pine forest. The Zafiro Cala Mesquida hotel is located directly above this dreamlike bay. The magnificent, fine-sand beach is just 400 m away. The nearest larger town, Capdepera, is about 5 km away. Cala Ratjada, with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, is about 7 km away. A supermarket and a public bus stop are located near the complex.

The 339 studios and apartments of this 4-star hotel are built in the Mallorcan style and spread across a spacious garden area. The family-friendly hotel complex offers a lobby with a reception and seating areas, a courtesy room, and luggage room, as well as elevators in each building. The two buffet restaurants, "Caprice" and "Marco Polo" (main season only), are known for their culinary variety, as is the "La Palapa" restaurant, where you can enjoy á la carte dining in the evening and then relax (included with All Inclusive and a minimum stay of 7 nights). Framed by the apartment buildings is the large pool landscape (7 pools), including an integrated children's pool with a pirate ship, several sun terraces with loungers and umbrellas, as well as the "Babalú" cafeteria, where you can enjoy snacks, and a pool and Bali beds, plus the "Las Dunas" pool bar.

One Bedroom Suite

With the same amenities as the studios, these suites also feature a separate bedroom (room size approx. 43 m²). Room code: OB2. Also bookable with side sea view (2SS) and pool view (ZOP). Additionally bookable under PMIA91 as room code S2.

Swim up Suite

With the same amenities as the One Bedroom Suite, these feature a small garden with direct pool access. Room code: 2SU. These rooms can be booked for children aged 6 and over.

Penthouse Suite

With the same amenities as the One Bedroom Suite, these also feature a spacious rooftop terrace with a whirlpool, loungers, and pool view. Room code: PHS. Also bookable at an extra charge as a One Bedroom Penthouse Suite with side sea view (OBV).

One Bedroom Park Suite

Bright and friendly, equipped with a living/sleeping area, separate bedroom, rain shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony. (SOP) Also bookable at an extra charge with pool view and kitchenette (BPP). Located in the former Zafiro Park Cala Mesquida. (Additionally bookable under PMIA91 as Park Suite Room (PA2).) Also bookable at an extra charge with pool view.

Rich breakfast and dinner buffets with cold and hot dishes and show cooking. Appropriate attire is requested. Local drinks are included with dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive Plus

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets with show cooking at the Caprice buffet restaurant. Drinks (water, soft drinks, and local beer) are available for self-service during lunch and dinner. Twice a week, themed dinners combined with 5 weekly specialties at the Caprice restaurant. National alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as cocktails and mixed drinks, are available from approximately 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Once per stay, an á la carte dinner at the themed restaurant "La Palapa" is included (advance reservation required and only for stays of 1 week or longer). Ice cream specialties, fruit, cakes, and sandwiches are available from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. A selection of cold and hot á la carte dishes (Bistro menu) are available at the "Babalú" cafeteria from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM (depending on weather conditions). Children's menus are available at the buffet restaurant and on the bistro menu.

Destination Information

A tourist tax, comparable to a city tax, must be paid by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it is €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay at the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not legal guardians, the booking registrant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
