Full comprehensive insurance without excess:
Underbody, tire, glass, clutch, and engine damage are not covered.

Damage to underbody, tires, glass, and clutch can be insured on-site.
Insurance information:
• The basis for insurance coverage are the local legal regulations and contractual conditions.
• Traffic violations, towing costs, and fuel are the responsibility of the renter.
• Accidents, theft, and damage due to vandalism must be reported immediately to the police and the rental company.
• Damage from incorrect fueling, lost/damaged keys/remote controls are not insured and cannot be insured.
• Insurance coverage is void if damage or theft is caused by gross negligence.

Note

Driver:
Minimum age 19 years and holding a driving license for at least 1 year. Drivers aged 19-20 will pay an additional charge of currently €9/day (max. €108) on-site, drivers aged 21-24 will pay an additional charge of €7/day (max. €84) on-site.
Additional driver: €7.95 per day, max. €95.40
Fuel policy: Pick-up with a full tank, return with a full tank.
A valid credit card is mandatory for rental car pick-up. Only VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. Debit cards, EC cards, or cash are not accepted. Upon pick-up of the rental car, the credit card will be charged a security deposit equal to the value of a full tank, which will be automatically refunded upon proper return of the vehicle.

• When booking a rental car, all flight time information must be entered. Changes to flight times for arrival and departure must be reported immediately.

• Price changes cannot be ruled out.

Additional Information

A tourism tax, comparable to a tourist tax, is payable by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to €2.20-€4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay at the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
During the low season (11/01 - 04/30), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not legal guardians, the booking applicant is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions from Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
