Ausflugspaket Costa Brava

During your stay, you will enjoy the convenience of staying in just ONE hotel. No "packing and unpacking" day by day! To enjoy this bus-based location tour, accommodation must be in a hotel of your choice in the Costa Brava (CBR) region. Not all hotels can be combined with the excursion package! IT note: please book the excursion package with the code BCN555 (Costa Brava, CBR), requirement H, along with a hotel stay of at least one week. Important! The excursion package can only be booked in conjunction with a hotel stay on the Costa Brava. Changes to the itinerary are possible.

Itinerary (A precise order of excursions cannot generally be provided in advance. It depends on the day of arrival/day of the week and the number of participants. The program will be carried out in its entirety as offered below. The order is always variable for organizational reasons):

Barcelona
The city of Barcelona is known worldwide as the capital of modernist style. We have designed a route that allows us to visit some of the works of the brilliant architect Antoni Gaudí: the Sagrada Familia temple, as well as Casa Batlló and Casa Milá (La Pedrera) on the beautiful Paseo de Gràcia street. During the day, we will view the city of Barcelona from Montjuïc Mountain, passing iconic places such as Plaza España or the Arc de Triomf. We will also have the opportunity to stroll along Las Ramblas, visit the famous La Boquería market, or explore the typical streets and squares of the Gothic Quarter.
 
All entrances are subject to a charge. Approximately 1 hour will be free for you to spend as you wish (it will be communicated on-site whether this is at the beginning or end of the excursion).

Montserrat
On this excursion, we will discover Montserrat, a mythical mountain. The relief of the Montserrat massif is recognizable from afar thanks to its unique and spectacular dimensions and shapes. But Montserrat is not just a nature park. It is a spiritual center of Catalonia and a pilgrimage site for many Catalans and visitors. Surrounded by nature, the Benedictine monastery was founded in the 11th century. Today, there are approximately 80 monks. In the morning, we will reach the area by the rack railway, which offers spectacular views of the mountain. During the day, you will have time in Montserrat to meditate in the basilica, walk, enjoy nature and the panoramic views, visit the museum, etc. The return from the mountain will be by bus.
Optional tours (entrance fee not included in the excursion) include the Montserrat Museum, rich in religious and secular art, as well as the Sant Joan funicular (ticket not included in the excursion), which ascends to 1,000 meters above sea level, offering exceptional views.
In Montserrat, the 'Cremallera de Montserrat' rack railway up to Montserrat is included; the rest is at your own expense.

Girona & Dalí
The city of Girona is a beautiful and tranquil city with authentic treasures of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque architecture. To enter the old town, we must cross one of the bridges over the Onyar River, from where we will be surprised by houses with colorful facades. The cobbled streets will lead us to the Sant Feliu church; we continue through ancient quarters until we reach the Santa María Cathedral square with its impressive staircase. The cathedral's nave is in Gothic style and is the second widest in the world. We continue through the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter, ending the walk in the Rambla district, where we will have free time. Our journey continues to Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, a brilliant artist and the greatest exponent of surrealism. We will visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum, a work by the master, to admire his paintings, drawings, and personal items. Part of the exhibition includes jewelry designed for his wife and muse, Gala.
In Figueres, entrance to the Dalí Museum is included; the rest is at your own expense.
