The Playitas Hotel, popular with families and couples, is located approx. 100 m from the sandy beach. Gran Tarajal, the nearest town with further shopping and entertainment facilities, is approx. 6 km away. A supermarket is reachable within approx. 100 m. Other sights from the hotel include Oasis Wildlife (approx. 24 km), Parque Natural Dunas De Corralejo (approx. 80 km), Betancuria/Mirador Morro Velosa (approx. 40 km), Playa De Sotavento (approx. 40 km) and Cofete (approx. 73 km). Car rental, a taxi stand and a bus stop are all located within approx. 100 m of the hotel for easy transportation. The airport (FUE) is approx. 45 km away.

The resort hotel, last completely renovated in 2021, consists of a main building and 6 secondary buildings and has a total of 223 rooms.
