Location

The Santa Catalina Hotel was built in the English colonial style and opened its doors in 1890.
It is located in the middle of a subtropical park and very close to the marina of Las Palmas.
You feel transported back to a glamorous era, but at the same time it offers the modern comforts of today.
The historic old town of Vegueta with restaurants and bars, as well as the shopping district Triana, are approx. 3 km away.
The famous city beach Las Canteras is also approx. 3 km away.
The airport is approx. 24 km away.

Facilities

The historic, listed hotel (204 rooms on 4 floors, elevators available) impresses with its noble and high-quality overall ambiance.
All areas are presented stylishly and elegantly, such as the lobby with reception, the piano bar with chicly furnished terrace, and the buffet restaurant "Doramas" with an inviting breakfast for a good start to the day.
In addition, the à la carte restaurants "Poemas by hermanos Padron", which was awarded one Michelin star, "La Bodeguita 1890" with tapas and regional wines, and "MuXgo" by Canary chef Borja Marrero - the first restaurant in the Canary Islands to be awarded a green Michelin star.
The hotel has various conference and event rooms.
In the extremely well-maintained outdoor area, which is planted with palm trees, there is a swimming pool with a sun terrace, loungers and umbrellas, as well as the pool/snackbar "Camarote Poolbar".
The hotel also has a beautifully designed roof terrace (adults-only and accessible during the day until 5 PM only for guests of the Junior Suite, Junior Suite Deluxe and Suite) with an infinity pool, loungers, and the "Alis Rooftop Bar" cocktail bar with seating.

Deluxe Double Room

The rooms are approx. 23 sqm, elegantly furnished with exclusive furniture, and feature air conditioning (individually adjustable), ceiling fan, safe, minibar (empty, refilled for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer (partially open bathroom), as well as a bathrobe and slippers.
Some rooms have a balcony or terrace (DD2).
Also available for single occupancy (DD1).
Preferred amenities (regarding balcony or terrace) can only be requested as a non-binding customer request.

Deluxe Superior Double Room

Equipped the same as the Deluxe Double Room, but slightly more spacious (approx. 25 sqm) and additionally with a bathtub and a balcony or terrace with views over the garden, the city, or the hotel's various courtyards (D2U).
Also available for single occupancy (D1U).
Preferred amenities (regarding balcony or terrace) and view can only be requested as a non-binding customer request.

Equipped the same as the Deluxe Double Room, but more spacious (approx. 30 sqm) and with an additional seating area (without balcony/terrace).

Junior Suite Deluxe

Equipped the same as the Junior Suite, but more spacious (approx. 32 sqm) and with an additional balcony.
Also includes access to the beautifully designed roof terrace (adults only and during the day until 5:30 PM only for guests of the Junior Suites, Junior Suites Deluxe and Suites) with an infinity pool, loungers, and the "Alis Rooftop Bar" cocktail bar with seating (J2D).

Some rooms have a small (unfurnished) balcony.
