Location

This location on the north coast of Tenerife, situated approx. 400 m above sea level, is in the well-known red wine-growing region, approx. 17 km from the capital Santa Cruz and 19 km from the holiday center Puerto de la Cruz. On the coast, about 5 km away, there is a small fishing village with a lava beach, secured by a mole and resembling a sea-water swimming pool.

Facilities

The small house, together with the old, renovated main house where the owners live, is located on a large hillside property surrounded by fruit trees. It has a furnished terrace with views of the north coast of Tenerife and the Teide mountain range.

Accommodation

Finca

The finca has 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and a shower room (bidet, WC, sink). One of the bedrooms has a small bathroom with a shower and toilet. The large living room with a seating area and fireplace (firewood is provided) is cozy and comfortable. A second seating area has a coffee table, dining table with 4 seats, and TV (national channels). The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove with oven (4 burners), toaster, coffee maker, kettle, juicer, and a dining table with 4 chairs. Baby cot available on request. Wi-Fi reception in the house, there is also a tennis court for guests (F2).

Studio

To the side of the Deseada house is the small cottage El Capricho, which has its own entrance if the house is not booked together with La Deseada. El Capricho is a small studio apartment with a bedroom with 2 single beds and an integrated kitchenette. Newly built and equipped with beautiful rustic floor tiles and a wooden ceiling. Very bright and friendly. TV with national channels and CD player are available. The bathroom has a shower/WC and sink. The small cottage is surrounded by terraces with beautiful views, a small barbecue area, and a lawn with fruit trees (S12).

Directions:
After leaving Tenerife South Airport, take the TF1 motorway towards SANTA CRUZ.
After approx. 55 km, drive past exit 7 (El Chorrillo/El Tablero) and approx. 1 km after this exit, the motorway widens to 4 lanes.
Move to the outermost right lane as quickly as possible.
Then take the exit towards La Chumberas/La Laguna/Aeropuerto Norte.
Continue on this road for approx. 5 km and then stay in the left lane to get onto the TF 5 towards La Laguna/Aeropuerto Norte/Puerto de la Cruz.
Continue on this road and then take exit no. 14 (Guamasa-Valle de Guerra).
At the roundabout, take the exit towards Guamasa/Valle de Guerra and continue to the next roundabout, where you take the exit towards Tacoronte.
After the restaurant El Tablon de la Canela (on the right side of the road), turn right (Casa Rural La Deseada sign is already there).
Continue on this road for approx. 3 km and then you will see a green gate and a wall with the inscription FINCA LA DESEADA on the right side of the road.
Please proceed directly to the accommodation upon arrival, as the staff member will be expecting you there for the key handover.

Instead, each traveler has the option to schedule an appointment by phone if needed.
