Location

The beautiful hotel complex is located near the small fishing village of Las Galeras, on the eastern tip of the Samana Peninsula, approx. 25 km from Samana town and approx. 200 km from Puerto Plata Airport (approx. 4 hours' drive).

Modern holiday complex, nestled in extensive tropical parkland with manicured lawns and hundreds of palm trees, which also line the white, fine sandy beach of the crescent-shaped, natural bay. 388 guest rooms in 10 single-story residential buildings blend harmoniously into the tropical gardens. Near the reception area with reception and souvenir shop, the buffet restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and the entertainment theater with a show stage for evening events are located in large pavilions. The center of the complex features 3 freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces and pool bars under palm trees. Sun loungers and bath towels are available daily, both here and on the extensive lawns behind the approx. 500 m long sandy beach. The water sports station and a lovely beach/snack bar with palm leaf roofing are located on the beach, as well as 2 à la carte restaurants (Italian and seafood) and the club disco.

Double Room Garden Side

The rooms have 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (water, soft drinks, and beer), bathroom, balcony or terrace (DG). Also bookable for single occupancy (DEG).

Double Room Premium Garden View

The rooms are modern, bright, spacious, and feature 2 queen-size beds, bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (water and soft drinks), rental safe, and balcony or terrace (P2G). Also bookable for single occupancy (P1G). Also bookable as a Junior Suite Premium Garden View, slightly more spacious with a king-size bed and sofa bed (P2J).

Club Ocean View Double Room

Equipped with two double beds, LCD TV, minibar (water, soda, and beer daily), bathroom, shower/WC, hairdryer, safe. Balcony or terrace (2GX).

Club Bungalow Garden

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the bungalows have a living room with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette with a garden view (CBG), available at an additional charge with sea view (CBO) or two bedrooms (C2B).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children / 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Wearing a wristband is required to use the All-Inclusive services. In cases of low hotel occupancy, there may be temporary closures of various restaurants.
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without a separate enclosure.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found more frequently in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may produce some noise.
