Location

Located in the hotel zone of Playa Dorada, the hotel is approximately 100 m from the beach and situated close to a golf course. Puerto Plata is about 3 km away. Puerto Plata Airport is about a 20-minute drive away.

Facilities

The adults-only hotel complex with 245 rooms features a reception, 4 bars (including a pool bar, chill-out bar without alcohol, night bar, beach bar), a main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (fish restaurant, Chinese cuisine, grill), a snack bar, a souvenir shop, a fitness center, a spa, and a theater. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the 3 swimming pools. The pool bar has a seating terrace, and the beach bar is partially covered.

The rooms feature 1 king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a bathroom with shower/toilet, mirror, hairdryer, air conditioning, cable TV (golf channel), telephone, alarm clock, rental safe ($3 per day), minibar (replenished once upon arrival), coffee maker, iron, and ironing board (D).

Double room for single occupancy (DE).

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often recorded in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause a slight background noise.
