The hotel, designed in Caribbean and Victorian style, has a total of 506 rooms and suites and offers its guests a lobby with reception, a beautiful pool and garden landscape with 2 pools with pool bar and an integrated children's pool, a floodlit tennis court, a fitness center with sauna, a beauty salon, conference rooms (capacity 200 people), a buffet restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (fish and grill, Italian, Caribbean) and several bars. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The suites are larger than the superior rooms and have a sofa area and a coffee machine (JS2).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If occupied by 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Premier Package

From 01.11.26, guests will enjoy, in addition to the privileged sea-front location of the room, access to three à la carte restaurants (Italian, international, Ocean Grill), the beach club snack service, and the main buffet "Las Almejas" with meals served throughout the day and midnight snacks until 2 AM. Additional services include a minibar, a wedding pavilion, special golfer discounts on the 18-hole "Playa Dorada" golf course, and access to the Bagua Spa at the sister hotel Casa Colonial Beach & Spa with a 10% discount.

With low hotel occupancy, there may be temporary closures of various restaurants in exceptional cases.
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, increased occurrences of brown algae are often observed in the Caribbean during this period. The beach and sea are affected by this. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local councils. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight noise.
