Location

The hotel is located in a prime area of the Samana Peninsula, directly between the bays of Bahia de Samana and Bahia Escocesa, boasting beautiful nature with tropical sandy beaches. The resort is approximately 171 km from Santo Domingo Airport and about 1 hour from Samana Airport. From January to March, the bays offer a unique natural spectacle as humpback whales gather here for mating.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, increased amounts of brown algae are often observed in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
