Location

The Dreams La Romana hotel is located directly on the beach, on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing village of Bayahibe can be reached in about a 10-minute walk. Punta Cana Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

The luxury resort, designed in a typical Caribbean style, offers a total of 418 rooms set amidst a sprawling tropical garden lined with palm trees. Amenities include an open-plan lobby with a reception, a souvenir shop, and various shopping facilities. Eight restaurants cater to your culinary needs, including beachside grill specialties and a poolside pizzeria. Additionally, the hotel features eight bars, four pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. The stunning outdoor area boasts a vast pool landscape with two pools. A hotel-owned water park with a lazy river completes the diverse offerings.

Deluxe Garden View

The luxuriously furnished rooms, decorated in a modern style, feature a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, safe, minibar (daily replenished with water, soft drinks, juices, and beer), and a furnished balcony or terrace (G2W). Also available for single occupancy at an extra charge. Partially sea view available at an extra charge (DDS).

Premium Garden View

With otherwise identical amenities, the Premium rooms are more spacious and feature marble floors (GP2).

Preferred Club Garden View

In addition to the same amenities as the Deluxe Garden View rooms, these rooms offer the following: private check-in/check-out, pillow menu, turndown service, upgraded minibar, bath amenities, exclusive Preferred Club Lounge, private beach area, and an exclusive pool area (2HQ). Also available with a side sea view (2HU) or as a swim-out room (WH2).

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found more frequently in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of special equipment, which may cause some noise.
