Location

The hotel in the Juan Dolio district is located directly on the gently sloping, fine sandy beach with coral reefs offshore. Shops and bars nearby. The airport of Santo Domingo is approx. 30 minutes away and that of Punta Cana approx. 2.5 hours from Juan Dolio. The "Guavaberry" Golf and Country Club is about 5 km away.

General facilities include a lobby, the "Ambar" buffet restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants serving Mediterranean and Dominican cuisine, 3 bars (including a snack bar, pool bar, 24-hour sports bar), a nightclub, the "Cacao" theater, a minimarket, common rooms, 2 swimming pools with sun terrace, loungers and towels (included, also on the beach), a whirlpool and a children's pool.

The rooms, decorated in Caribbean style, have a bath/shower, toilet, direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a safe for rent and a balcony, garden view (DSU/DEU).

With the same amenities as the Double Room Superior (DD2/DD1), these rooms offer limited pool view or sea view.

Double Room Deluxe Type A

These are Double Rooms Deluxe at the daily rate (DDA).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two Queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If the occupancy is 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the "Ambar" buffet restaurant. Dinner is possible by reservation at the à la carte restaurant (steaks/lobster at an additional charge/reservation required). Children's menus in all à la carte restaurants. 24-hour snacks, table wine with meals, unlimited national alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Drinks and entry to the "Boom" disco are included.

Wearing a wristband is required to use the all-inclusive services. In exceptional cases, if the hotel occupancy is low, there may be restrictions on the opening hours of restaurants (main restaurant excluded).
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly in the general living area of the hotel room without a spatial separation.

Seasonal information

Between April and December, due to wind, temperature, and currents, there may be an increased presence of seaweed and algae. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates some noise.
