Location

Located between Santo Domingo and La Romana, on "Mortero Beach", this 950,000 sqm resort is nestled among palm trees, directly on the sea, near the mouth of the "Rio Soco" river. La Romana Airport is approximately 25 km away.

Facilities

The complex features 1 main restaurant and 3 à la carte restaurants (Italian, Gourmet, and Mediterranean (not air-conditioned), reservations required for all), all 4 are non-smoking and partially air-conditioned, a beach restaurant, and a snack bar. Further amenities include various bars, an amphitheater, a disco, shops, a large pool area with a separate children's pool, a spa area, 3 whirlpools, and a fitness room. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the pool and on the beach.

Juniorsuite Superior

The Junior Suites are equipped with 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV and ceiling fan, telephone, Wi-Fi, alarm clock, sofa bed, coffee machine, safe, minibar (daily refill), and balcony or terrace (2JS/1JS/KJR/KJU/KJV). Also bookable as Oceanfront near the sea (2JO).
From 11/01/26 onwards, bookable as Junior Suite 1 King Bed (JS2/JS1), Junior Suite 2 Double Beds (2JS/1JS) and JS Superior Ocean Front 1 King Bed (2JO).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If booked for 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may emit a slight noise.
