The resort, part of the well-known Princess hotel chain, is situated amidst a tropical garden, directly on the long beach of Playa Bavaro in Punta Cana.

The 5-star resort features 270 suites, a total of 5 restaurants, including a buffet and 4 à la carte restaurants, three bars and a snack bar, two discotheques (one at Caribe and one at Tropical Princess), a hairdresser, various shops, and a spa. The uniquely designed swimming pool area includes a swim-up bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge. Towels are also provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.35 x 2m). For a occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight noise.
