Location

The complex, built in a castle-like style, is located directly on the beautiful, endless white sandy beach of Bavaro. An all-inclusive resort for adults, families, and singles. The distance to Punta Cana International Airport is 32 km (25 minutes) and 65 km to Higuey, the nearest town.

The resort is set in spacious, extensive gardens and has 798 rooms. There is a beautifully designed reception hall with a reception desk, 2 lobby bars, a main buffet restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants, 8 bars, and a pizzeria. There are also 2 large swimming pool areas, including a whirlpool and a children's pool with slides. Additionally, the hotel offers a theater, a nightclub, an international casino, shops, a wellness center, and a beauty salon. 24-hour medical support is available.

All rooms, approximately 33 m², are equipped with a bath/shower/WC, air conditioning, telephone, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee maker, safe (free of charge), minibar (stocked with water, beer & soft drinks), cable TV with national and international channels, alarm clock, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms have garden or pool views. Sea view can be booked for an extra charge.

Superior Double Room

These rooms meet the standards of a 4-star hotel and feature a bath/shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, flat-screen TV, ceiling fan, tea and coffee maker, safe (free of charge), minibar (stocked with water, beer & soft drinks), cable TV with national and international channels, CD player, and a balcony or terrace.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If the occupancy is 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

All meals in buffet style, à la carte (appropriate attire requested), visits to specialty restaurants are limited (depending on length of stay). 24-hour alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks 24 hours a day in various locations. Sun loungers and beach towels for the pool and beach.

Laundry, spa area and beauty salon (9 AM - 7 PM), casino, internet cafe, party service (for parties and private banquets), room service, wireless internet in all hotel areas and rooms.

Sports included

Subject to availability: mini football field, climbing wall, circus trapeze, beach and pool volleyball, water polo, kayaks, catamaran, water basketball, bocce ball, fitness room (weights and cardio equipment). Aerobics, whirlpool, table tennis, and other indoor sports, 2 floodlit tennis courts. Introductory lessons in diving (in the pool) and windsurfing with instruction and equipment included. (additional lessons for a fee).

Children's program

The kids' club (ages 4-12) is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. A separate children's pool is available. The mini disco takes place every evening from 8 PM to 9 PM. Babysitters are available upon request and for an additional fee. Cots are free of charge (upon request & subject to availability). The game room (board games, billiards, and more) is open from 10 AM to 11 PM. Children's pool with slides!

Entertainment

In the evenings, there are shows with the hotel's own dance group. Weekly highlights include sports competitions, dance classes, theme parties, and nights (Dominican night with bazaar and shows). The hotel nightclub is open every night (11 PM - 2 AM). During the day, there is an animation program by the pool and on the beach.

Note

Pets are not allowed! Wearing a bracelet is necessary to use the All Inclusive services. Smoking is NOT permitted in the à la carte restaurants, the main restaurant, the disco, the nightclub, and the game rooms! Smoking is permitted in the covered piano bar, which is open on the sides, and in the grill restaurant. For dinner, shorts, bikini tops, sleeveless t-shirts, or beach sandals are not allowed in the restaurants. If the hotel occupancy is low, there may be restrictions on the opening of restaurants (except the main restaurant) in exceptional cases. Electricity 110 V/60 Hz.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause a slight noise disturbance.
