The resort is located on Playa Arena Gorda, one of the most beautiful beaches in Playa Bavaro, and is perfectly integrated into the lush flora of the Dominican Republic. Punta Cana International Airport is 25 km (approx. 25 minutes) away. Santo Domingo Airport is approx. 2 hours away.

Junior Suite

The spacious rooms, furnished in colonial style, are 50 sqm and feature 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, a full bathroom with whirlpool, American shower, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, internet access (free of charge), minibar (soft drinks, beer, and water included), safe, ironing board and iron, coffee machine, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool view. Also bookable as a Junior Suite with sea view and whirlpool).

Majestic Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the Junior Suites, these are located on the ground floor and offer room service, a whirlpool in the bathroom and on the terrace, and direct pool access (no private or shared pool).

Colonial Club Junior Suite

The rooms have the same amenities as the Junior Suites and are located in the adults-only area. Amenities in the adults-only area include a private check-in area, a bottle of champagne upon arrival, 24-hour room service, 2 swimming pools with swim-up bars (premium drinks included), and an exclusive beach area with Balinese beds. Ocean front rooms are bookable for an additional charge. Also bookable with Jacuzzi (CJ2).

These comfortable Junior Suites feature a whirlpool and ocean view (2CO).

Colonial Club Majestic JS Swimup

These 50 sqm suites are located on the first floor in the adults-only area and feature an indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi as well as a private garden with direct access to the pool and the Colonial Club amenities (WC2).

Colonial Club Suite Jacuzzi

The approximately 98 sqm suites have the same amenities as the Junior Suites but are more spacious and have a Jacuzzi. Garden or pool view and Colonial Club amenities (GC2).

These suites are on the 3rd floor and have the same amenities with Colonial Club features.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy + 1/2 children / triple occupancy, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation! In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the main living area of the hotel room without a spatial separation.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
