This completely renovated luxury hotel (November 2018) belonging to the Bahia Principe hotel chain is located directly on Playa Bavaro on a long white sandy beach, surrounded by tropical vegetation. It is a 35-minute drive from Punta Cana Airport and a 90-minute drive from La Romana Airport. Ideal for active and pleasure-seeking guests with a wide range of activities.

This beautiful, exclusive adults-only hotel is located within the Bahia Principe Bávaro Resort and features 528 Junior Suites in 11 two-story villas, a reception area, and a front desk. For culinary delights, the luxury hotel offers modern gastronomy in the main restaurant (air-conditioned) and 3 à la carte restaurants (Gourmet, Italian, and Steakhouse), a beach restaurant, snack bar, 4 bars, and a coffee shop. The modern tropical outdoor area boasts a large swimming pool complex with a spacious sun terrace, whirlpools, a swim-up bar, sun loungers, and umbrellas. In the "Bahia Principe Village," a disco (admission included), snack and karaoke bar, as well as various shops and a casino provide evening entertainment. The sister hotels of the entire complex can also be used (with the exception of Fantasia Punta Cana and the buffet restaurants). Wi-Fi throughout the property is free.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often more prevalent in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
