The hotel has 272 rooms spread across a four-story main building. You can escape everyday life on the fine sandy beach. The hotel leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to culinary service for guests. It offers 2 buffet restaurants and 5 à la carte restaurants. The hotel also has several bars, an internet corner, a nightclub, an amphitheater, and a small shopping center. The beautifully landscaped tropical garden features a large pool area with 3 pools. Sunshades and towels by the pool and on the beach are free of charge.

Here, guests are handed refilled bottles directly; there are no drinking water fountains in public areas.
Features the Winnow system to reduce food waste and 3R equipment for waste management in hotels.
Guests staying in the Bavaro complex can visit the Coral Lab to see and learn about corals. Thanks to the two coral nurseries in front of the hotel, where we work with our scientific team to restore the reefs.
The hotel has its own composting facility. Organic waste is converted into compost, which we can use for our gardens.
We are part of the country's national mangrove restoration program, and in the Bávaro complex, we have planted over 19,000 mangroves donated by the Ministry of Environment.
Beehives are being rescued and brought to the apiary we have in the complex, which can be visited by all guests.
In collaboration with the National Aquarium, the Dominican Institute of Environmental Law, and the Blue Flag Program, the National Aquarium rescues turtles. Once they reach an appropriate size and health, they are released on the beaches of Iberostar hotels.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. The beach and sea are affected by this. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which emits a slight background noise.
