The Paradisus Grand Cana (formerly Falcons Resort by Melia) is separated from the sandy beach of Playa Bavaro only by a hotel complex. Punta Cana International Airport is 30 km away. The Palma Real Shopping Center and the Cocotal 21-hole golf course are in close proximity.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased occurrence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
