Location

The sprawling resort is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, directly on one of the most beautiful stretches of the extensive, palm-lined Bavaro beach. Punta Cana Airport is about a 20-minute drive away.

The Adults Only Club is a section of the Lopesan Costa Bavaro hotel, which was completely rebuilt for Winter 18/19 (bookable under PUJ033/PUJ933). The tastefully Caribbean-style resort is set amidst a beautiful tropical garden with an elegant lobby and reception. There is also an extensive pool landscape consisting of 7 freshwater pools (one pool exclusively for UNIQUE guests and one pool exclusively for Adults Only guests), including the infinity pool, sun/sitting terrace, loungers, and pool bar. "The Boulevard" forms the attractive center for entertainment and is an exclusive area with leisure and shopping opportunities, featuring themed restaurants, a casino, and a disco. The amphitheater, with seating for 790 people, offers a special holiday experience. The hotel's own water park also promises fun for all ages. Further facilities include 12 restaurants, of which 6 are à la carte (Steak (Adults Only), French, Asian, Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean), 2 buffet restaurants, the hotel's own beach club, and 14 bars.

The rooms feature a tropical view and are equipped with a king-size bed, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, 50-inch satellite TV, telephone, safe, coffee maker, minibar, iron/ironing board, bathrobes, slippers, and a balcony. The rooms are located in the exclusive adults-only area of the hotel. Pool view is bookable at an additional charge.

The rooms feature a tropical view and are equipped with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, sofa bed, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, 50-inch satellite TV, telephone, safe, coffee maker, minibar, bathrobes, slippers, and a terrace with direct access to the pool.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Wearing a bracelet is required to use the all-inclusive services. In cases of low hotel occupancy, there may be restrictions on restaurant opening hours in exceptional circumstances. Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurants (no swimwear; long trousers and a shirt in the à la carte restaurants).
In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased amounts of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
