Location

The hotel is located on the east coast of the Dominican Republic directly on the long, fine sandy beach of Uvero Alto. It is about a 30-minute drive to Bavaro, about 35 minutes to Punta Cana Airport, and about 75 minutes to La Romana Airport.

The luxurious resort has 620 rooms in nine three-story buildings and offers its guests a highly comfortable stay. Starting at the lobby, the river-shaped pool with a swim-up bar winds through the tropical grounds to the sea. For children, there is a separate pool area in the Adventure's Club. The spacious sun deck, which also offers shaded areas, provides relaxation. Culinary variety is offered by 9 different restaurants, including 5 à la carte restaurants (e.g., Italian, Asian, French (Adults only), Seafood specialties), a main buffet restaurant, a pizzeria, a café, and snack bars by the pool and on the beach. Furthermore, the hotel has 9 bars, a small shopping arcade with various shops, and a Splash Island water park (opening Summer 2025).

The tastefully furnished rooms have a bath/shower, toilet, hairdryer, king-size bed or two double beds, wardrobe, furnished terrace or balcony, MP3-compatible alarm clock, cable TV, individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial telephone, CD and DVD player, coffee/tea maker, safe, ironing board and iron, minibar (stocked daily with soft drinks, water, juice, and beer), umbrella, and desk, and offer a garden view. In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Children's program

The Adventure Kids Club is for children aged 3 to 12. The club is open daily from 9 AM to 9:30 PM. All activities are supervised.
Odyssey Teens Club:
Sports and other activities are organized by the animation team in the Teen's sports area.
Alcoholic beverages are only served to guests aged 18 and over.
From 10:30 PM to midnight, there is a late-night disco in the sports area.
In the main area, teenagers aged 13 and over have access to billiards and video games.
For babies, there is a Kids Club near the beach where parents can play with their children; no supervision is provided!

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
