Location

The hotel is located directly on the beach in Uvero Alto. Punta Cana International Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive away.

The Ocean El Faro El Beso is a section of the Ocean El Faro, exclusively bookable for guests aged 18 and over. The hotel itself has 910 rooms, a total of 10 restaurants (Steakhouse, Route 66, Blue Moon, Caribbean, Mexican, Asian, Italian, Privilege Lounge), as well as a main and beach restaurant, 5 swimming pools (one adults-only), 14 bars (Sports Bar, 3 Snack Bars, 5 Pool Bars, Lobby Bar, Beach Bar, Piano Bar, Bowling Alley Bar, Mike's Coffee). In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, increased brown algae are often observed in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local authorities. However, this requires the use of special equipment, which generates a slight background noise.
