Nestled amidst tropical vegetation and on a kilometer-long sandy beach, the resort is approximately a 25-minute drive from Playa del Carmen and 20 minutes from Tulum. The beautiful sandy beach is protected by an offshore coral reef. The Riviera Maya Golf Club is located within the resort.

Junior Suite Superior

The Junior Suites, decorated in a modern Caribbean-Mexican style, feature a king-size bed or two double beds, a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, seating area, 24-hour room service, guest service (on request), air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, coffee maker, and a balcony or terrace (JU2/JU1). Sea view is available for an additional charge (2JO/1JO).

Junior Suite Deluxe

These suites are slightly larger than the Junior Suites, were built in 2015, and are located in the Adults-only area (2JD). Sea view is available for an additional charge (JO2). The Adults-Only area also includes an infinity pool and a restaurant.

Junior Suite Premium

These rooms have the same amenities as the Junior Suite Deluxe, plus a shower, and are more modernly furnished.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). If the occupancy is 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax has been implemented and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos, or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the duration of stay in the country.

Destination information

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. Brown algae, in particular, are frequently found in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. Hotel management and local authorities are committed to cleaning affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This may involve the use of equipment that produces some noise.
