The resort is located about 16 km from San Miguel, directly on the white sandy beach of Cozumel. The family-friendly hotel is surrounded by tropical mangroves and offers guests beautiful flora and fauna. Playa del Carmen can be reached by ferry in about 45 minutes. The nearby Palancar Reef is one of the top 5 diving destinations for snorkelers and divers.

The rooms (approx. 29 m²) are located in the 2-story, thatched-roof villas and feature a king-size or two queen-size beds, shower/bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (including soft drinks, water, and beer), coffee maker, iron, Wi-Fi, in-room safe, and a balcony or terrace with a hammock (DSU/DEU).

Superior Premium Room

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these rooms are also located near the pools and the whirlpool (SPU/SPE).

Ultimate Dive Experience Superior Premium Room

Same amenities as the Superior Premium Rooms, but guests also receive the following additional benefits: private check-in/check-out, special wristband, exclusive pool area, free internet access, one tank per day for diving, free storage and care of diving equipment at the dive shop, and special hangers for wetsuits (U2D).

As a result, every hotel room user in Mexico is obliged to pay a tax to the state at the hotel, similar to a tourist tax.

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax came into effect and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

No smoking area

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punishable by fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often more prevalent in the Caribbean during this time. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local councils. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
