No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transportation, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punishable by fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. Brown algae are particularly common in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, working to clean affected beach areas in cooperation with local municipalities. This requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may generate some noise.
