Location

The family-friendly hotel complex is located in a pristine bay directly on the fine sandy Tulum beach. From here, you can reach numerous attractions such as Sian Ka'an National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and further cities and temple complexes. Tulum city center is about a 15-minute drive away. The transfer time is approximately 2 hours.

The stylish resort has 735 rooms spread across 5 buildings and features a 24-hour reception, an elevator, five different restaurants offering a wide selection of Mexican, vegetarian, and Italian dishes, as well as Oriental and Asian cuisines providing a variety of choices. Further amenities include a cafe, two bars, a business center, a boutique, and a souvenir shop. The outdoor area features several pools and a children's splash pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are free of charge by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach.

Accommodation

Nature View King Bed

The rooms are approximately 42m² and feature air conditioning, a bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, TV, safe, desk, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, a minibar with daily refills, and a furnished balcony overlooking the garden/park (non-smoking). Rooms with a side sea view (PPV) or direct sea view (VCQ) are also available for an additional charge.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room. This means occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

Hotels in Mexico are gradually introducing an "Eco-Tax".
This obliges every user of a hotel room in Mexico to pay a local tax to the state, payable in cash at the hotel.

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the length of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars. In Mexico, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be open, without spatial separation, integrated into the general living area of the hotel room.

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in greater numbers in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
